This bird sanctuary shot was captured in 2011 at a beach area in Sanguenay which is part of Quebec, Canada. You could see hundreds of birds from one end of the river to the other which was pretty exciting and a blessing to be there as well!

I was able to get fairly close standing at the edge of a large tree and shoot endlessly at random because he seemed to be enjoying his afternoon rest and was in no hurry to arise; even seemed to smile in between his chewing while I clicked away on my remote!

I was able to capture this unusual image in digital while looking into an old cast iron kettle on my deck early one morning in 2007. The bees seemed busy doing their days work in their fully formed comb of yellow jacket's nest and didn’t seem bothered, not yet anyway, by my peering into their hive with my camera.
