  • While hiking in the Red Rock Canyon area of Nevada, I shot these timeless Petroglyph images with my Canon G9 Powershot camera. It seemed to render credence to an ageless moment in time and gave it the perfect finish.

It was the off season but the caretaker was kind enough to allow me to photograph some of the old buildings throughout the property. This image is a composite of 2 images. The wooden window from an old barn taken in 2008 and the old shacks and windmill taken at Shaniko in 2009, then stitched together in photoshop. The image was finished with an edged border created in the OnOne Software program outlined with a simple black line. Shaniko is a great place to bring the family...a step back in time for sure!
